The July 4th holiday is synonymous with cookouts, pool parties, beach days, outside activities, family & friends, and fireworks amongst the Myrtle Beach area. There is no shortage of places to see amazing fireworks displays and star-spangled happenings throughout Little River.

Something not to be missed… Salute the military this 4th of July! Starting at 1:00 p.m. on July 4th, don’t miss out on the F16’s and several vintage military aircrafts from Shaw Air Force base flying over the South Carolina coastline; starting in Cherry Grove of North Myrtle Beach, SC and continuing along the coastline to Hilton Head. Did you know…Cherry Grove Beach is located just 3 miles from Bridgewater!

If you like fireworks, don’t miss the show at Cherry Grove Pier at 9:30 p.m. The display can be seen anywhere along Cherry Grove Beach. If you don’t mind a little sand on your feet, Barefoot Landing, located in North Myrtle Beach, will also host a fireworks show at 10:00 p.m.

For added holiday fun, Croissants Bistro and Bakery in Myrtle Beach, SC is hosting its fourth annual Cupcake Eating Contest on July 4th at Broadway at the Beach in the Heroes Harbor section. Contestants, whom must be 18 years of age or older, will have five minutes to devour as many cupcakes as possible. There will also be several family-friendly activities leading up to the event, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with the contest starting at 3:00 p.m.

Be safe, have fun, and happy 4th of July from your local home builder!
