The holiday season is here, and there are a lot of activities around Bridgewater to help residents and visitors celebrate the season. A Very Broadway Christmas Parade
On December 2nd, the North Side of Broadway at the Beach will be alive with the sounds of a merry parade. The parade will be followed by holiday sales and a visit from Santa at the Holiday House. Finally, the night will end with fireworks over Lake Broadway at 8 pm. This is an event not to be missed, so dress cozy and head out to Broadway at the Beach.
Marshwalk's 9th Annual Santa Crawl
On December 9th, from 5-10 pm, the Marshwalk in Murrells Inlet will host the 9th Annual Santa Crawl. Participants will enjoy drink and dinner specials at the Marshwalk restaurants. From 6-9 pm, Secret Santas will be walking around to spot the best Christmas attire and award prizes to the winners. Make sure to dress in your best holiday apparel for a chance to win.
On December 10th, at 3 pm, a parade will begin at Greg Norman's at Barefoot Landing. Dress up your golf cart in holiday decor for a chance to win prizes. After the parade, head over to LuLu's for an after-party featuring music and other entertainment. Give them a call at (843) 361-7949 to register.
Ripley's Festival of Trees
Throughout December, from 9 am to 7 pm, the aquarium offers the Festival of Trees. View over 55 decorated trees, one for each state in the U.S. and more. The aquarium has been brilliantly decorated with lights, bows, and trees. The Festival of Trees offers a unique and beautiful way to enjoy the spirit of the season.
Nights of A Thousand Candles
Brookgreen Gardens hosts 'Nights of a Thousand Candles' on select dates from November 25th- December 31st, from 4-9 pm. Stroll through the garden's pathways with a cup of warm cider, hot chocolate, or wine while listening to holiday music and carolers. The garden is lit with over 2,700 hand-lit candles as well as sparkling lights, creating an enchanted atmosphere. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
