Five years ago, a group of pioneers made the decision to invest in a vision of a life well-lived at Bridgewater. They purchased lots in a vast expanse of grassland, previously a golf course, to build homes within the Little River community that promised a vibrant, luxurious, and amenity-filled lifestyle. When Chesapeake Homes celebrated the 5-year anniversary of Bridgewater's founding, it was time for the community to reflect on how far this community has come.

Chesapeake Homes celebrated the anniversary with a party that welcomed both original pioneers and newer residents who showed up to grab some celebratory cupcakes and lemonade. The 5-year milestone offered an excellent opportunity for the community to bond and take pride in their achievements. The pioneers' vision had transformed into reality, and it was a reality worth celebrating for everyone who calls Bridgewater home.

The community's growth since its inception has been phenomenal, with more than 550 homes built since 2018. The Good Life Community is known for its magnificent amenities such as a beautiful Veteran’s Memorial, resort-style pool, bocce ball courts, dog parks, walking paths, pickleball courts, community clubhouse, and a well-equipped fitness center. Chesapeake Homes' 5-year anniversary celebration at Bridgewater was a truly special event. It cemented the fact that the company had truly poured its heart and soul into creating a community that people could be proud to call home.
